About Ellis

Born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, I never appreciated what our state had to offer while I was growing up. But after spending years in a bigger city and most of a year backpacking through Europe, I’m back where I began…well, sort of. Although I grew up in the city, I’ve gone full country now, living with my family of six in a tiny house on a small homestead where we raise dairy goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, and sheep. Most of my days are spent chasing children, chickens, and the occasional roaming goat, but I’ve managed to carve out time for reading and writing as well.

Writing used to be a favorite pastime, but kids and life got in the way for a while. I’m so happy to have returned to my love of writing and look forward to sharing all of the ridiculous, heartwarming, and tear-jerking romances that constantly fill my head.
